Why? Did anything change since the last 2 weeks?Anyone still holding out hope for the Build Back Better EV credit?
Nada, just curious if anyone here still has hope it will eventually pass. Not that it matters. Why? Did anything change since the last 2 weeks?
The thing is, Tesla is always incrementally making changes. When that hold comes off, there will be new cooled seats. When that hold comes off they will have new colors options. When that hold comes off they will put in larger screens. You will always be getting a car right before something new comes out.Me too, if I don't get the ryzen chip as well as Li Ion battery, I'm going to push it further.
We get that but to some of us, waiting just a month isn’t a big deal for a much faster CPU.The thing is, Tesla is always incrementally making changes. I get that argument. However, the Ryzen chip particularly serves as an outlier. You don't need a new color or cooled seats to have 'future-proof' reassurance. My M3SR+ 2021 with Atom felt incredibly slow loading basic apps, and the general UI felt laggy. I can't wait to finally have a snappier, smoother, more responsive experience. The thing is, Tesla is always incrementally making changes. When that hold comes off, there will be new cooled seats. Literally 2 of my friends got their cars within 1 to 3 days after getting their VIN. It makes sense to me though, the car is assigned to you as an individual after having been assigned to a Country, territory, city, etc. So way after its been built.
Pressed the wrong button, not sure how to delete my thread.Rec'd my new window this morning as well. As with most, I am down to a single car for the family so really hoping for this window to work out, lol.

Hoping to see a VIN soon. Nothing yet
New headlight, doesn't bother me. automatic trunk/frunk, doesn't bother me. New colors, don't care. cool seats, doesn't bother me. Having the screen constantly black out, loads slowly especially not seeing rearview camera at time is definitely bothering me.The thing is, Tesla is always incrementally making changes. When that hold comes off, there will be new cooled seats. When that hold comes off they will have new colors options. When that hold comes off they will put in larger screens. Those are orders that are at least half a year old from I've seen. Mine is an October order, still got some time.I wonder how this will bode with Tesla's recent stance on cancelling orders that were being held.
