Nothing here... not even any change to EDD. Did receive a "trade in" text last week - even though I'm not trading in.

OD: 12/13
EDD: 1/30 - 2/27 (no changes at all)
Picking up in Mt. Kisco

exact same config and order date, but down in PA -- Don't be surprise there are a ton of cars coming to the East Coast for Feb deliveries. My date just shrunk yesterday, you should see movement soon

Hmmm damn… Similar build to mine with an OD a day earlier. Hopefully u get some good news soon. I saw a few mentions elsewhere last week that people we’re getting calls from mt kisco to prep for delivery.

Good Luck to you. I hope you are right on things moving soon. I even did the source code lookup and while there is no VIN, there is an interesting bit down at the bottom of the page which shows a "builld tag" date of 20220120 followed by the numbers '1608' ...probably nothing.

I've never placed a hold but I might have to for a short, 8-day period when I'm out of town in Feb. Not sure I will do a hold either, especially if I haven't been given the shorter 14-day window by the time I leave. Just hoping it doesn't push the window even further if I do.

Identical OD with very similar EDD’s, only difference being car color and delivering in SoCal. Here hoping latest EDD doesn’t have another push back for us.

Well after releasing a 153 vin sat just got assigned a new VIN 167xxx. Need to call to make sure it has Ryzen and waiting to see the delivery date.

What is your configuration and did you have a hold for a few days?

That's the Vision agreement people are talking about. It is standard and you can accept it. I got it as well and after acceptance I got my VIN.

Have u dealt with the EDD madness others have? I’ve had a pretty steady edd since order with one change about a week ago when it narrowed from 4 to 2 weeks

There’s almost no more accessories I can buy…I want my car!

I don't think that piece is relevant. I show the same thing on mine, I interpreted it as some version control note in the HTML code for internal purposes, and nothing related to the vehicle config.

Just got my VIN!! 165xxx. EDD 2/8 - 2/12

This gives me hope! My EDD went from Feb 28-Mar 28 to Feb 16 - Mar 16. Not a big movement but something is better than nothing. The wait is painful

I have had one EDD change about a week ago when it went from 1/31-2/28 to 2/9-2/23 and hasn’t moved since.

Northeast people give me some good news!

Upstate NY (western) here and am in in 2 week EDD but no vin (checked app and source code). I am noticing that recent vins seem to be getting assigned in a somewhat west to east pattern (lots of assignments in CA, TX, GA, IN, FL). Hoping that’s the pattern and December NE orders should start seeing vins in the next week.

But the only true difference we see is the faster load times in the entertainment apps. Maps and other apps run just fine. On my model y I don't see any lag at all.
I think there will be an announcement today. If what I heard is true. I think they will say everyone who gets delivery after today will have the chip upgraded for free. We will see.

That would be a huge burden on them but if it is true, there must be really a high number of customers rejecting VINs right now because of the new chip / new 12V battery pushing them to make this decision.

Well I woke up to a another EDD change. That makes it #9 I believe. From 1/25-2/8 to 1/29-2/11. I figured it was coming. Thankfully it was just a few days and actually shaved off 1 day. Gotta look at the positives lol.

Nooo! lol That means mine will probably get pushed back tomorrow to about 1/30-2/12. Darn it. Really ready for that VIN....lol

Same configuration, but OD is 2 weeks after yours, so I fully expect my EDD to push back tomorrow to something like 1/30-2/10 or so based on what some of you got today. Seems like they've been giving VINs to a lot of white interiors lately?

I keep wondering how life will be if I don't need to refresh the app every 15 min and stop checking the app as soon as I wake up. Perhaps I will know that after March.

To level with you, I don't think the general public is aware of the chip/12v situation. There are rejected VINs, sure, but I wouldn't be at all surprised if the majority of those are from people here on TMC and the very few other sites where buyers have access to this info.

Just a guess on my part.
