Ordered 8/19 MSM/Black interior/SR+

MVPA was uploaded 8/29, text to schedule delivery 8/30. Delivery appointment set for 9/10. Picked up yesterday!

Everything was perfect minus a small scuff on the drivers side door handle.

The audio in the SR+ is MUCH better than I was led to believe, but I came from an 07 Altima so it’s not like I had anything amazing beforehand to compare it to.

I got the new frunk and it looks like my side mirrors are auto dimming as well.

Congrats! good to hear that the auto dimming mirrors are still there since I love it on my current car.

Update on my car: Scheduled delivery for the 19th but the car is now scheduled to land at the delivery center on the 16th. Still picking it up on the 19th since it works out better for me.

I ordered the MSM with Black interior and 18 Aeros as on 8/5 but in Seattle. Congrats on the super quick turnaround on your order. Maybe this is a sign that the Midnight Silver SR+s are going to be scheduling deliveries soon. I don't know if they produce the cars in batches, I would assume so. If thats the case my fingers are crossed hoping I will have a delivery text soon.

I know the data's not perfect but I've been tracking the inventories on ev-cpo and the number of Model 3's has *shot up* every day the past week. It started at <100 and now it's over 600. So it's clear Fremont is working hard!

Oof, SAs really are hit or miss. I got lucky with mine, he's super responsive over text and will even text me randomly with updates. I would recommend calling the Delivery Center and select the option for new sales (option 3 I think? There may have been one more option before..should be easy to get to though) and you'll be connected straight to a person. You could ask if the delivery is on schedule since you haven't heard back.

I called my SA and he was able to give me times outside of what the website was showing on the 2 days it was giving me, so hopefully everything should be good. And he also said if the car arrives early (which they've been getting a lot of early arrivals), he would let me know and I can pick up earlier (which would land on a weekend)

Thanks again for the suggestion! It worked - I got a hold of someone in sales and he looked up where my car is, which is in Chicago and it needs to be in Cleveland. My original date is Monday at 10 AM and doesn’t look like I’m getting it early despite the text messages from Tesla saying it is set to arrive early.

The waiting is just like my third trimester, in 120° heat, and these texts are like having Braxton Hicks contractions..lol

July 5th: Ordered LR AWD, Blue, Black Interior, 18" Aeros (estimated delivery: 8-12 weeks).
August 6th: Text received saying 5-8 weeks estimated delivery.
August 19th: Text received saying 3-5 weeks estimated delivery.
August 25th: Noticed Delivery Appointment scheduled in my Account for September 11th (no word from Delivery Specialist).
September 4th: Noticed VIN posted in my Account (no word from Delivery Specialist).
September 9th/10th: Car arrived in Ottawa, Canada at the Delivery/Service Center (no word from Delivery Specialist).
September 10th: I visited Delivery/Service Center for update and to see if my car had arrived because they do not have a phone number posted, found my car in lot, became overwhelmed with emotion (no word from Delivery Specialist and was told the car is not ready and probably will not be ready until probably next week by Service Center worker).
September 11th: Noticed MVPA posted in my Account (no word from Delivery Specialist).

Anxiously waiting for the phone call/text/email saying my car is ready, knowing it is sitting in a lot a short drive from my house lol.. called Tesla Montreal to ask them to connect me with my Delivery Specialist and was told they will call me right back but still havent heard anything... I have been very patient, but knowing my car is finally here has made my excitement too hard to contain.. hoping it will be early next week!

07/28 Order (estimated delivery time 5-9 weeks)
08/20 Text "we are planning to deliver your model 3 soon, but you need to select blue submit button"
08/25 Text for 2-4 weeks
09/05 Logged into my account and found MVPA and a Vin. No text or call from SA.
09/07 Called local Tesla in Vienna, Virginia to see if any status was available. All they could offer was that car has not left the factory.

I thought with the push to have everything counted in this quarter that I would receive before 9/30. As of now I would guess it will be real close to that date if I'm getting it in September.

I'm located in Fairfax Virginia and ordered a LR AWD Red/white interior, 19 inch sport wheels and no FSD

Couple of interesting items for me today. My SA called me in response to my email that I sent a couple of weeks ago, very apologetic about the lapse. Among other things noted that my car is scheduled to be at the Vienna, VA center on 9/27. He mentioned that the delivery team would reach out a few days before and sooner if it does come in early. I have not received any texts from Tesla about a delivery or anything since 8/25.

On a perplexing note. I received a call that went to voice mail from Tesla roadside assistance saying they received an alert from my vehicle that I may need some assistance. WTH? I hope it didn't fall off the train/truck and is crying for help.

I did call the roadside assistance number. They were perplexed too and really couldn't answer why that would happen. It is in a rail yard so the mind starts to go to dark places.

Says 1-3 wks for me. It said 5-8wks at first but once I put my zip code it went back to 1-3wks.

That's odd, I just checked model 3 going through the order process and it shows estimated delivery of 1-3 weeks. Could it vary by location?
