I should mention, I've read about people talking to their SA and have a delivery location, but I did the ordering online and haven't talked to anyone... Don't have a pick up location either. Should I just expect the car to be in my driveway one day?

Also, I'm thinking of making payment of amount due via cashiers check day of delivery after checking quality. Wonder what effect that will have? Or if I'll even have that option? I'm assuming it'll prompt to pay via plaid so they can just drop the car off at my house, but I hope I can choose the check path instead..?

Depends, my vehicle says Burbank since home delivery was unavailable for me. If yours says home delivery then it’ll probably show up randomly

Interesting how some people are getting texts. Got nothing and the front end of my delivery date is Saturday.

I gave up hope for EOY delivery but them moving my EDD into this year gave me hope again. I swear if that EDD goes back into 2022 I’m going to lose it

When you ordered the vehicle it should have asked you to put in your home address, and if it was eligible it would have said home delivery if not it would have you select a pick up location available. I’d probably contact them to be sure though

If you can’t check the location or never had a chance to select one there’s a good chance they don’t allow pickup. I was told that I can’t pickup and delivery is the only option. The only reason I know my Tesla location is because of a previous order that for some reason allowed pickup.

I don’t know if that means that 100% you can’t pickup. If you have a VIN I’m sure you can call Tesla and ask what location your car is going to. Then call that location and see if they’ll allow pickup.

Sorry, this thread is 526 pages long and I can't be arsed to read all of them, so might be off-topic here!

I ordered one of the original M3P in 2019 in the UK, it was thrown together and had multiple issues but "Let's Not Get Bogged Down With Who Did What To Who", as the only thing I cared about was "Power!" and wow it flew and I came from a stage 2 Audi S8 with 750 BHP. EV cars simply put ICE to shame up to 100mph which is really all that matters.

I had to sell mine a few months back and just replaced it with a new 2021 LR AWD in Blue with the black trim and bits (minus the wireless charger which they have to send an engineer to come and fit as they had none in the factory!) that I didn't have on 2019. I miss the rigidness of the P but for the blasts I do and general driving the LR is a better car, it's quieter on 18" wheels, has better range, so closely matched on speed past 30 it really doesn't matter (I haven't even got the boost). I may look into lightweight wheels later (in gold), better sway bars and an airbag kit for the suspension, as I always wanted that on my last model 3, so I could lower it to the ground and show everyone how grown-up I am not lol. (any help is welcomed )

I was lucky to get the car, as only waited 2 months from order, so no wireless was fine with me, Mine is Chinese and it is put together amazingly, I would never have put my 2019 and 2021 in the same world for the build.

I wonder why I’m seeing 12/19-12/31 while some in the same exact area are seeing 12/24-12/31. Either a batch of white vehicles with my configuration is coming earlier than then or it’s just going to change after Sunday to match your new EDD

I've read in other forums red paint and/or white interior has a longer wait. Not sure how true this is.. Seems FSD may also be a factor.

yup. I have other vehicles to drive so it's not the end of the world. I was secretly hoping that stupid tax bill would get changed to up the cap for sedans/other to $80k like the truck/SUV/van caps. Doesn't seem likely so might as well take delivery. My EDD is now only a two day window of the 30th and 31st. If they get the car to the pickup center on the 30th I may end up out of town with work and not be able to physically get the car until Jan 1 (if they are open). It would sit on the lot for a day or two. Recent interpretations of the tax bill also indicate the tax rebates will be retro active starting Jan 1 as well. So if the bill does get passed say in January or February and that cap does get raised I would get the tax credit if I take delivery in 2022.

Yeah, can't believe my late August order came in 20 days after order but my Dec 3rd order is now Feb to March. I'm Blue and Black interior so maybe any color outside white/silver is the holdup?
