yes! first i was super stoked when i found i had a vin. then checked geico to add to my policy and it was 300 a month and was like wtf. lmao. found cheaper options so thats cool. now just have to figure out what I need to do for the downpayment/financing. And install a 15-40 outlet.
What insurance did you go through? Geico trying to charge me $315 a month too. Yuck. State farm quote was 130 a month. Tesla 70. I am ready to do the Tesla but it won't let me purchase it yet.

What's your plan? My 4 day window starts on Day 1 of me being out of the country. They offered home delivery but I don't want it to sit in the driveway. My plan is to have a friend go do the inspection at the delivery center and next door to that is the preferred shop for Tesla wraps, PPF and tint. Honestly that isn’t a bad idea. Unfortunately, I have to fly 500 miles to Denver and drive it back because NM doesn’t allow direct sales (and would do home delivery :/) so my options are a bit more limited… I will likely fly direct to Denver a day early from my planned road trip and meet my wife back home with the new car. My wife won’t love going from her pleasant Mothers Day trip to an unexpected 6 hr road trip home by herself… but alas.
I have to say I’m a bit skeptical here. I think Tesla is overcommitting againStill no VIN for me. Told you you'd get yours first...although I didn't think it would be a few hours later.

Hey S54Chris, It looks like we have the same order date. However, you're on the east coast and i'm on the west. It'll be interesting to see how VINs will be issued based on color, options, and location. I ordered a MP3 White/Black, No FSD, San Diego. I hope we get a vin soon. I'll keep you posted
