Great. The app was a paid one, so maybe sharing is not the way to go. But if the developer is willing to share it I'd gladly fork some dough.I have e-mailed the dev. Will update if i get answer.
Tesla should really just give us some control over the nannies. They could easily implement a few drive modes and pop a warning disclaimer about traction and stability control.
You can install apkextractor and it’ll place it n the sd card without needing root. It’s found free on the App Store. ApkextractorIf anyone has root on their phone you can grab the apk and post it?
Its usually under /data/app/$appname/base.apk
can you use https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.ext.ui and pull the apk off to the sd card. location /sdcard/ExtractedApks/I managed to get it before it disappeared, it absolutely works and is a ton of fun. Car can break wheels loose super easily, way more freedom compared to Track Mode - though you lose regen and it feels super weird to use brakes this much
Dyno mode drives just like normal but with the traction control and stability control turned off. The Unlocked mode also turns off regenerative braking so the car feels much different than normal. I just tried the dyno mode and I like it better.
Not sure what you mean. The Model 3 isn't traction limited in normal conditions. There's no wheelspin with TC turned off. With so much wheel spin, what would 0-60 look like if you got it to stick and not spin out of control.
Seems like the initial 0-30 is limited due to the power smoothing of the vehicle.
But if its blindly applied (possibly with staggered tires) looks like you could hit a 2.6?
The car doesn't spin out of control, the driver does. Idiots like that will be the reason Tesla changes the password or removes the feature completely.
