Model S 20” 11inch rear aftermarket wheel installation issue

hi all i purchased a set of 20” ‘’works’’ brand aftermarket wheels and going to install in wheel shop.
Front 9.5 15 (265 30 20)
Rear 11 35 (295 30 20)
Front wheels are perfectly fine.
Unfortunately rear wheels are rubbing the inner fender liner.

The wheel shop has offer solutions
1.inner fender liner remove or cutting
2.wheel stud cutting
3.add on 12mm up Hubcentric wheel spacers
4. 295to275 tires replacement

Don't remove or cut the wheel liner. You might get water entering the car when it rains. Happened to me when my car rubbed through my inner fender liners on my Z06. I had to raise the car slightly to stop the rubbing and buy new liners. I read a post on her where a vendor said that the widest tire that they can fit on the rear is 285 w/ rubbing.

This isn't a thread about fitment on the newest cars anyway.
Got it, but the newer ones are wider anyway with OEM 0.5" wider on the OE wheels. When I have a wheel house tell me 11" pushing it on the back even for the plaid, I usually would down. The last model S version is narrower, so that is why I mentioned 11" pushing it. Either way, if it works, it works.

Did you ever resolve your issue running the 20x11 et35 wheel? I just got a set of Works too with the identical BMW F80 width/offsets. I'm willing to bet you could zip tie the rear fender liners closer to the body to prevent rubbing. I'm probably going to give it a shot later today.

I've been running this set up for the past 2 years with no issues.
offset is key

Looking for a little guidance with fitment for a 2020 Model S performance, stock air, drive in LOW setting 99% of time, not planning on lowering links. I would like to go to 20" from 21' factory twin turbines. Would you look at this and tell me your thoughts? My objective is to fill the wheel well and go as wide as possible without trimming. Thanks in advance to input from any members.
