I saw your plate in person at the Menlo Park coffee and cars event. I didn't think it was a problem. The little subscript (2) is obviously not part of the plate. Maybe a Palo Alto meter maid gives you a ticket while parked somewhere. I highly doubt a real cop pulls you over just for that.
