Dang you all have me surrounded, geographically and reservation-sequence-wise, and I got no response to my "2012: Yes, please!" Email! Very excited for everyone still, long waits are nearing an end.
Have you check in "My Garage" on the Tesla website? I didn't get a response, but had the DELIVERY button enabled the next day. I'd check the site, if you haven't already.

Why yes, I have checked my garage occasionally...say, five or six hundred times since Thursday night! Still no delivery button or me. Breathing deeply, and trying to be patient. Secretly hoping I will be surprised with a VIN number phone call or something similar.

I got my delivery window of December 15 - 31st. P6,233. I never got a response to the Dec or Jan email, where I said "Hell Yes!". However, the red "Delivery" button was activated on my My Tesla page and that's where the window was given.

Jake, you're not the only one. I responded within seconds, alright maybe like a minute to read the entire email. No delivery button for me either. If anything is true at tesla, things come in batches and waves and hopefully there'll be another round of delivery buttons this coming week.

I was given a delivery window of dec 19 to Jan 2, but when I requested my VIN, the DS indicated it would be delivered before the END of January.

Agreed, I bet that is exactly what is happening. Walter from Ownership Experience actually responded to an email query today (Sunday!) regarding this, and he confirmed they had received my response, and have noted my preference. He said the Delivery team now has a major bubble/backlog, and it would take time for them to work through it.

Sorry to hear that DSmith, I am sure the logistics of shipping to Hawaii are a major factor in your case.

Probably true for the duration to PA, but how long does it take to schedule a shipping container and/or coordinate with a shipper's schedule. And given the extra cost/effort required, they have more incentive to ship Hawaii cars together in batches.

I was able to ship my BMW to HI with 0 days notice. drove up, filled in paperwork, all done in about 30 minutes. Easier than when I shipped another car from PA to CA via truck.

That is amazing. I would have certainly guessed that ships to Hawaii run much less frequently, and are much more difficult to schedule space aboard, than a fleet of land-based delivery trucks.

they have a few different companies, Matson is probably the one that Tesla would use. They have about 9 sailings from Oakland to Honolulu a month along various routes (Some stop in LA). their schedule is posted on their web site.

I'm baaaack. Good news! Cardiologist says the 'old ticker is tickin' the way they say it should'. I had a great dream. I was suddenly standing on the sidewalk outside the hospital and through the morning fog I saw Nicoletta quietly gliding up beside me in her beautiful new blue coat, windows down, and the sound of Michael Buble softly crooning from her great sound studio within, "I want to go home".
