Model S Delivery Dates and Sequencing

My 60 kWh should hit right in the center of my window (due on Feb 6th, window was Feb 1-15th). I just missed the last truck to Texas otherwise I would be getting it today! It was released to shipping on Jan 25th.

Update: Car is due tomorrow. No call from the truck driver today and call to my regional Delivery Specialist and my CA based Delivery Specialist both went unanswered. I called UPS and they claim it is not in the system, somehow (same guy confirmed the Feb 6th date on Feb 4th). I am not hopeful it shows tomorrow.

Just got off the phone with someone from Tesla. He told me that my car is in "burn in testing" about 1/2 through production and should be ready in a few days. He said the only thing currently on the due bill is my parcel shelf, which they should have in stock for by end-of-Feb. Unfortunately, I can't pick my car up for a couple weeks...it's going to be a long wait!

Actually, I would take it if they contacted you especially that it means something is wrong with your car, not that things are delayed generally.

My car hasn't even entered production so nothing wrong with the car. They contacted me because they saw a note in my file that I needed delivery by 2/16 the end of my delivery window since I'm headed out of town afterwards.

factory is currently running towards the end of folks delivery windows and now may be delayed even further, that's why they called

Interesting. I see over on the TM forum that 12,896 got the same call. We'll just have to wait and see exactly what this means. I hope jchangyy doesn't have a heart attack.

Just got off the phone with my delivery specialist. My car is scheduled for delivery at my home (25 miles north of Fremont) on Sunday morning, 2/10. My window was 1/22 to today 2/5. So it will be 5 days late. I had been told the car was finished last week.
I have a standard 85, pretty much loaded.

Thanks for the idea, I tried logging in again just now and was able to get mine too -- 4816! (It's there in the app, but not in MyTesla.)

I have a VIN from my PS, but never saw it in MyTesla. Where would it show up there? Only my res. #, seq. #, "your car's being made" or whatevs, and View Design are present. (The red delivery button, which was redundant since I'd used it eons ago and it just showed up again one day, finally went away.)

I called up Tesla to try to get the full VIN. I was immediately requested not to use the mobile app until I get my car. They say apparently it's caused some unforeseen problems as cars are being produced. While I'm locked out of the app functionality itself since the access is disabled in the car by default, it's still probably contacting the car's computer. If I had to guess this could be causing problems with upgrading the firmware or testing the remote connection. Anyhow, I figured I'd pass this warning along.

Interesting, but I'm not sure I buy this. Well, okay, my car--supposedly on its way to MD--isn't "being produced" so it's probably not affected negatively. But I'm mostly ignore the app now anyway, since it doesn't do anything without remote access enabled anyway. ;-) Thanks for passing this along, either way!

Me too. I got a call from TM tonight inquiring about my delay. I told them I will be out of the country for 3 weeks and when I gave them my return date she said no problem, a couple of days will not be a problem. My delivery dates are 2/28 - 3/14. They are definitely running towards the end date of their window.

When they said no problem do you mean no problem they will make the window or no problem we will get it to you when you get back from your trip?

was told today that my car is scheduled to land in Rockville MD on Monday the 11th. then a couple days of prep/inspection/cleaning.. so likely ready to pick up next Wednesday the 13th...
I am hoping my car is on the same delivery as yours - they told me it will be there mid week.

So excited. I know I have been on this forum and read quite a bit of let downs with the delivery team. However, I have to say - my process was above expectation! So for a change of some good feedback for Tesla's Reservation, Inside Delivery, and Delivery teams!

I finally received my final MVPA this morning, after being told I'd have it back on Wednesday. Signed, and got it off to PenFed to finalize my loan. They'll express the disbursement so I get it Tuesday. Then got a call from Tesla Seattle, saying my car's on a truck they'll be unloading Monday. I'll pick up my Model S Wednesday morning. Is this finally real??
