I was wondering where you were. thought you'd never come back to this forum now that you have your car.

Impressively, I got my final MVPA signed and done yesterday (Sunday) and now, my loan stuff is docu-signed today (President's day). I should get my loan check either tomorrow or Wednesday. I tried calling today, but I think many of them are off today. no answer. will try again tomorrow. Hopefully, mine is one of the one's being tested, which means I should have my car ready for pick up by the weekend--just in time for a trip around Half-moon bay.

looking forward to your pics...

i will still be here to continue the learning. Be sure to keep us up to speed with your status and post even after you get your car as we have all been on the journey together.

I would estimate that they are making monthly production plans.

Tesla may be making a monthly production plan, but they appear to be pushing delivery date notices (two week production window) out in batches each Monday. Every Monday and Tuesday, this blog fills up with new delivery windows and then silence towards the end of the week.

There actually seems to be a lull in blogging for 60kWhr Teslas lately. Telsa may have filled X number of 60's for the initial surge and then moved back to filling 85 orders as quickly as possible. Or maybe, many people that reserved from Nov-Jan are less active on the forum.

Actually, they seem to be batching and going back and forth. First week of February was all 60's and no 85's, second week was all 85's. That doesn't mean they won't go back and do another 60 batch at any time.

Pre-delivery MVPA for 60Kwh with Air, tech etc was signed & countersigned on 2/6 with delivery estimate of March-April. The way 85kwh deliveries are progressing, I don't think they will get another batch of 60kwh in production before mid March. Another person had Feb-March for his 60Kwh but he is yet to receive delivery survey or button.

OK, all set with a factory appointment for tomorrow at 3. The complication in my case is that I wanted to do a trade-in and drop off my old car at the factory. Although this is possible, you need to jump through some hoops. Because the trade-in is through a separate company, they need to come by your house and inspect the car and complete the sale before you can drive it to the factory, but the whole transaction from estimate to delivery needs to happen within a week, so the timing is a bit tricky. It took a bit to find out the information, and then could only schedule the inspection for today. On Friday I decided to cave on my plan and see if I could get a ride up and pick up my car over the long weekend, but due to missed calls with my PS I wasn't able to schedule it.

Anyway, I've now signed over the title to my old Audi to AutoNation and will be driving it up tomorrow to the factory to pick up the car. It works out fine, because my wife can come tomorrow as well (which she wouldn't have on other days), and we can drive back together in the Model S.

Can't wait.

Congrats...post lots of pics please. I'm still waiting to hear back about my pick up date.

just got off the phone with my DS. says my car is still in production--now it's been in production for 10 days and they don't know when it's gonna get completed at this time. when I spoke with them last week, they thought I may be able to pick up mid week. Now, they're telling me it'll be mid-week to end of next week. Apparently, even with similar batching (non-perf 85s), the cars are built not in order of VIN (someone with VIN of 5484 (mine is 5486) picked up his car 2 days ago).

So, looks like mine will be about 2 weeks after the close of my window, despite factory pick up. Trying to patient, but it gets harder and harder as things get closer.

VIN ASSIGNED: 5837

sweeeeeet. just got off the phone with my delivery specialist. She said my car was just assigned a VIN and was about to start the production line soon. (note: iphone tesla app saying no vehicles linked to my account, so had to call to get it)

When asked about how long it would take to get it out here to the east coast, she said it would take about 5 days to get through the production line and another another 7 days to get on a truck out here then another day or two to prep it in service store, so I'm looking at basically 2 weeks.

That falls in line with the beginning of my delivery window so it looks like their holding up their end just fine. Very happy! Now I need to get my insurance and financing figured out .. as well as installing a 220V outlet in my garage lol.

I had a call similar to yours a few minutes ago. Deliver window is Feb 25 - March 12th. Curious to see if tomorrow morning both our apps go live.
Vin : 5923, 85w, Grey, Black leather, Obeche matte, pano, active air

Got the call today that my car is ready. Now the question is do I take a day off of work... during a 4 day work week... having just taken a 1.5 week vacation... which I was out sick for the 2 days prior to, or do I just bite the bullet and wait until Sunday?

P12336
VIN 5448

1) take off if you can.... maybe just a 1/2 day??
2) if VIN 5448 is ready.. my VIN (just got it via app today) 5776 should be ready in less than a week?????

Hmm. I wouldn't bet on it. My vin is 5486 and my DS told me, in no uncertain terms that my car is still in production and its too early to schedule a pick up date. Funny thing is, my cars been in production for the past 8 days with no end date in site. Cars w VINs in 56xx are notified of completion so may be you might get yours before mine. I just feel so lost in a vortex of darkness
