Just a few updates to the delivery spreadsheet since last week.

Tesla Delivery Spreadsheet

Interesting information. Is this something TESLA has put out there and how do we get to see it? Also, I noticed there are many reservation numbers that are skipped,is there a reason for that or are they cancelled? Some deliveries dont have the specs, wonder why? I think I found my reservation at line 95, but not all the information is accurate, like I did order the Pano roof not listed and it doesnt show the city only the state. Mostly interested in how to find this kind of information. Thanks

I ordered my model S a month ago and my salesperson and the website said I could expect delivery in 6 weeks. I emailed to follow up and the reply was that I could expect it in early June (that would make it 12+ weeks in total). On this chat I see people getting it MUCH sooner... what determines the order? I ordered a 60kw...

The telephone support person said they are building the 85kw and once a month pepper in the 60kw's... is this right? On top of that my buddy's model S just came in and he no longer wants it so I offered to take that one instead and they agreed but only if I pay the higher price (base model was $2500 more when I ordered than when he did)...

So far not impressed with the experience. Seems like an over-promise, under-deliver.

Standard Suspension Drive Experience

My 85kwh with standard suspension was delivered yesterday. It began production on 3-4-2013. My sequence number is P2681, VIN P06759. So they have begun production of standard suspensions.

So, how does the standard suspension car drive? I have an 85kwh with std suspension to be delivered by early April. My original window was March 13 -27 and I now have a VIN. Haven't read anyone who has actually taken one out for a spin yet.

I have been waiting in the cue for 18 months so dont get so upset. Yes the 85s have very high priority right now because of the quarter financial reporting, so they are selling the MOST profitable cars right now. I firmly believe that they will begin following the sequencing once the quarter is done. They told me my 60kwh with STD suspension would be built Apr 8, and I have a res number 4172. So take a number and wait patiently. BTW, if you bought at the old price and are satisfied, then just wait it out or take your buddies car, but he could probably sell it at a slight profit at this point.

Holy SMOKES, he assembled all that information from trolling these blogs and gathering the information. That is a full time job! UNREAL

It wasn't that hard. Another guy got it started and quit updating about six weeks ago. He was much more dedicated than I am - he would press folks to provide information to fill in the blanks. I just kinda ended up taking over.

I'm waiting for my Red 60, so this little project keeps me busy while I'm reading the blogs. (And attempts to answer all the questions from my wife concerning when the Model S will arrive) The information flow slowed down considerably after mid-Feb, so there is less and less information to update each week and it's getting more spotty. I think everyone who reserved in 2013 is getting their cars so quickly that they don't have any time to obsess.

Thanks for everyone that has helped contribute to this noble effort.

well you are doing a hell of a job, I guess the spreadsheet will die with your delivery. I think I have hope that mine will really come in the next 3-4 weeks. Spoke to Sara again today, and while they pushed my end of line date from Apr 1 to Apr 10 if she is no a BS artist, then the car may be in S FL before the end of April. BTW, went by the Dania showroom and they have 8 cars sitting in front I guess waiting for the new owers. SICK

See below, but I would not start with her, she was the one who contacted me with the wrong information originally. When I got frustrated I called TESLA directly and told them I was considering cancelling. They forwarded me to a "ownership satisfaction team" or something like that where I spoke to SEAN. I told him I needed some concrete facts as I cannot wait indefinately for a car, as I was using my daughters car at this point, and I would just cancel and buy something else. They went up the line, and told me that my cars PARTS were all ready and it would go to the assembly line the last week of March, with completion on Apr 1. Sara later called to verify that all was well and we would wait, she assured me the information was correct. Since then I have gotten no further information so I sent SARA an email yesterday saying Apr 1 is nearing and I still dont have anything. She called me back late in the day and said the car is scheduled for end of line Apr 10. When I told her that was later than what they said the last time she assured me this is accurate. At this point I really dont believe anything they tell us and will only wait. But if I dont hear anything by Apr 10, I will most definately cancel the order and maybe buy a TESLA in 3 or 4 years from now. So dont call her, if you want to get mentally massaged call the main line, and ask for the ownership/customer satisfaction team.

I just let Tesla do their thing. I never emailed, or called to ask about when my MS would be done. Why bother to harass anyone over a car. In my case, everything worked out just fine.

I did the same thing. They would call when they were ready to deliver. BUT.......I will call about the HPWC. I can't drive it as much with the 110v. It has taken 2 days for a full charge. Not good.

You might want to consider just putting in a NEMA 14-50 220v outlet. That is what we did, and charging is plenty fast. My Roadster has the 70amp charger, but I actually turn down the amperage in the car so it charges slower.

As far as all the worrying about the waiting, we waited for our Signature for a long time. It took longer to come than initially predicted when we placed our order long, long before the first one came off the line. If the car isn't worth the wait, then it isn't worth the wait. We were willing to tie up the deposit on a Signature because we drank the Kool-Aid. Others might feel more entitled, and immediate gratification is the modern way, and it is perhaps frustrating when Christmas keeps being pushed further out, but it will eventually come—I do think this one is worth the wait.

Just got my VIN today for those that are tracking this info: P08892 (it showed up on the app)

Filled out MVPA 3/18

Is it true that logging into the tesla app is quickest way to see if you have a VIN?

Is there any reason that you turn the amperage down? I have the HPWC for convenience (I park outdoors, so charging with the "travel charger" was annoying as I had to run the cord under a door, whereas the HPWC is now mounted outside permanently)...However, I don't "need" to charge as fast as it can. I'm just wondering if there are any benefits to charging slower.

42 days reservation to end of delivery window must be some kind of record. And you might even get it before then!
Red/60kWh/40kWh/springs/outside-North-America customers, please look away!

Thanks. Wow, the pace is really picking up now. 2359 VINs have appeared in the app this month (recorded VIN 6533 Feb.28th), corresponding to a production rate of a whopping 635 cars per week :)

But the supplier pipeline can't be very long with production this quick. 8 days from MVPA to car well into production? They must just have ordered a bunch of parts they assumed they'd need, or they are cherry picking which cars to make depending on which parts they have coming in the next few days.

No, you can get it much earlier by phone or email. The VIN doesn't appear in the app until the car is well into production. Thus is it a nice way to track production rate.
