so i guess this is normal practice. we confirmed on 4/22 and haven't received a VIN or delivery date either. (san diego SC)

Just from pure observation: I think they create (or assign) VINs in batches. So there's two patterns I've seen ... if you order when a VIN is available, you'll get assigned one very quickly. The other pattern I've noticed is there is a bulk VIN assignment at some date.

Not sure this is correct, just guessing based on some patterns I've seen lately.

Got my VIN just now... had only checked 4 times today. I was shocked when it popped up... the tension mounts... the crazies get crazier... the wait gets wait-ier.

I stopped into the sales center today while killing some time and got some updated info. Production is scheduled to be complete 6/2! Delivery is still on the books for 6/17 but I'm hoping to get it a week early...4 more weeks sounds much better than 5!
