Chains should never be put on the front tires of a Tesla. The only chains that should be used are ones that only attach to the outside of the tire like the Trak Sport or Konig otherwise damage to the lower control arm will result. The Tesla supplied Trak SPorts have always been hard to come by. Rear lower control arms being cut through due to the chains!
Yes. They work great in any area you’d need to use chains. I live at a high elevation and we have usually 2+ feet on the ground all winter. I usually have winter tyres on but there have been times that it wasn’t enough.
I watched some videos of auto socks and visited their web site. Such a simple idea! They don't make it easy finding a retailer in NA but I'll go check amazon now... or maybe sew my own!!
