So far, I think we’ve had confirmation only from new MS owners. Are the new MX also coming with the intel MCU?
Can someone who took delivery recently confirm that, please?
Whats the next digit in your 246 VIN? Given your car was built the day before the supposed factory shut down I'm thinking this points to when the new MCU was installed. I'm sure you're not thrilled to hear that...
Geez guys & gals I don't know what the deal is with all this "confirmation" I've told you directly from the source no need to speculate just need to see if your car incoming has it or not. Also this update is for both the S and X confirmed by me and I will put money against anyone who doubts my info ...or drinks!
You are correct, I was mistaken. So I think we're looking at the beginning of MCU2 sometime around 2/23/18 or after 246XXX.i thought model 3 production was shut down Feb 20-24. Do you have info saying the S line was shut down after that?
My SC has ordered a new MCU for my yellow ringed MX screen. Needless to say, I’ll be working with them to see if the new part can be dropped in before they install. Two weeks ago they told me the part was on back order. Could mean they ran out of Tegra ones and are waiting for refurbs or they are waiting on new x86 ones.

Does your source know starting when?
Can you show the entire image that includes the CPU section?
Thanks. Based on that and the other message concerning UA, it looks like you do not have the updated MCU.
Well, yes. I was replying to @BigD0g saying SC replaces only the LCD for yellow ring discoloration while in my case they replaced the entire MCU, which I was hoping would be the one with new CPU but it wasnt.Sorry, it doesn't look like it is to me. The new Intel versions have "x86_64" or "amd64" in the User-Agent string.
Yup.... should've waited few months more for the new MCU to trickle down to service centers...Thanks. Based on that and the other message concerning UA, it looks like you do not have the updated MCU.
