Has it always mentioned phone key? I've never seen mention of phone key but I'm using Android.
It doesn't matter what vehicle you have, it has the same text.

How do you guys all know your production start and stop dates? Is it just from obsessive checking of your account page? I’m not even sure how accurate that is. My page still says “currently in production” but my delivery specialist claimed as of yesterday that it’s already in transit
I would bet that you would still get the full credit. Worst case scenario, it would drop down to 3750 for the credit, but the way things are looking, you would still get the full creditMX75D with EAP, cream interior, no PUP
Ordered 1/20
Production start on or before 2/23
Production complete 2/28
Pickup 3/20
I'm assuming I won't have the new MCU and I'm strongly considering refusing delivery and placing another order if I can't get a commitment for a path to upgrade. I sent a text to my OA to see if he can determine which MCU I have. The car is supposed to arrive at the SC/showroom on 3/17.
The main thing I want to check on is if I order now, can I still get the $7500 credit and free supercharging. If not, it becomes a tougher decision. Anyone have insight to this?
Ah man....that stinks.Mine was built 2/26-3/1 and has old MCU
I’m in the same boat with youI guess I'm in the minority here. With all the talk of an "imminent interior refresh," I asked my wife right before we placed our order if we would be upset if the car was redesigned two weeks after we bought. Both of us agreed that we loved the car as-is and wanted it now. So I was off by one week on the timing, but couldn't be more excited to pick her up tomorrow. I actually can't wait to give back the (still super awesome, just not mine) Model X 100D loaner they gave me.
On the bright side, I can now lay claim to one of the SUPER RARE Model S's with the lighted vanity and the old MCU. So TAKE THAT, KARMA!
It does, but the car is still awesome. Need to look at charging info now.Ah man....that stinks.
Makes me super worried about mine. Production 2/28 - 3/3. Trying to see if the DS can get me any clue of what MCU is installed.
As someone about to take delivery of a slower MCU, is it all that unbearable? I noticed browser was slow and nav was slow, but I never use those. Everything else seemed ok.
Yes it is. Checking it several times a day.How do you guys all know your production start and stop dates? Is it just from obsessive checking of your account page? Are you sure it started production 3/2? If it is then why do you ask when it went into production? Check your driver door. There's a sticker with month / year indicating when it was produced. If you took delivery on 3/10 I'd assume it's produced in February. My Tesla started prod 3/2 and delivered on 3/10. I have the old chipset. Does anyone know when it actually went into production?
S? X? Dates from DS or from Tesla site?My Tesla started prod 3/2 and delivered on 3/10. I have the old chipset. Does anyone know when it actually went into production?
I tracked my order every day on through the website and nagged on my Delivery Specialist. I tracked all the dates on the tracking spreadsheet here: Order Tracking SpreadsheetAre you sure it started production 3/2? If it is then why do you ask when it went into production? If true, then this just makes it a total crapshoot if you get old v new.
Maybe exited production on 3/2?

Didn't you say they are offering 10k adjustment? So who thinks I would be able to cancel my inventory order I am to pick up this weekend and
1) get my deposit back to order sometime in the future?
2) transfer to new model X custom
3) they would offer adjustments so they could sell more cars this quarter
You can't really say it's just the miles driven. Miles driven is used to represent "wearing, depreciation" due to the car getting older itself as well, including outdated techs. The adjustment has the outdated tech built in.The 10k adjustment is because of miles driven...
