Also, congrats on the imminent delivery, I hope? I know how you feel - confirmed my order back in March with 117xx VIN and configuration very similar to yours, but I'm still waiting to hear if I'm even production....

Thank you, yes I was referring to the Model X Tracker site that has been referred to in several posts. I thought it would allow me to see at-a-glance the average time that elapses between milestones from reservation to delivery. But it was not quite as user-friendly as I expected.
I hope you hear something soon on your car. The waiting and all the uncertainty gets pretty frustrating.

Thank you for that comprehensive checklist! I will take that with us when we take delivery… Whenever that is. Maybe our car is delayed because of the "big Tesla announcement" that people are saying is coming today at Noon.

Hi everyone, I ordered my X 90D May 19, 2016 and confirmed May 26. My VIN is 121XX. I'm a little concerned because my Delivery Specialist has given me the status of "late stages of production" for a couple weeks now, and all summer she has said August delivery. But I have no delivery date and August is just about over...

My spec: X 90D, Midnight Silver, Ultra White seats, 20" silver helix wheels, 6 seat interior, autopilot, accessory hitch.

Any thoughts? Should I move this post to the September delivery thread?

@4Amy I hope you get your X on time! My guess is you're probably still on track, given your vicinity to Fremont and you ordered a 90, which seems to get production priority over the 75s and 60s.

I confirmed a week after you with a similar configuration. My VIN is just after yours and I took delivery this past Saturday 8/20/16. I am sure you are close!

I will pick up my MX 90D with VIN#121XX tomorrow. I confirmed my order ~3 weeks after you. Not exactly sure how Tesla assigns VIN# and decides production schedule. my MX came out of the production late July, and it took more than 3 weeks to take it across the country to PA.

I have the same concern on my 75D. "Late stages of production" message for over a week now. Delivery date is supposed to be tomorrow, 8/24 … Yeah right. Looks like getting bumped to Sept. is a distinct possibility.

Got the "Your Tesla is Complete" email this morning. The My Tesla page has not changed since the financing was confirmed last week (as in it still says that my car is in the Queue). Since I'm picking it up in Fremont, I'm optimistic that I still belong to this August Delivery thread

They told me early September originally but I got an email on August 21 telling me it was just completed. Then yesterday they told me it's already in San Diego at the Service Center. They said the earliest available pick up date is Monday, August 29. So they were faster than I expected.

Got a call today that my Friday delivery is no more. Apparently the delivery truck broke down and it won't get to the Rockville service center later this week or early next week. So I guess I'll have to move over to the September thread. Hopefully no hiccups with fit/finish, etc when it does arrive

Oooh, the notification email of production complete is new (for Model X). Model X production is getting more and more routine. Maybe someday MyTesla will actually be useful between ordering and delivery.

Called for an update on our Tesla Model X P90 today and apparently our order moved from in testing back to production. We were told we'd have it in 10 days about 12 days ago and still haven't gotten a delivery notification. :/ Which tells us that there might have been a problem with the car. We haven't heard from our DS yet so optimistic that's not the case/hopefully we'll be getting a delivery message real soon..

Our purchase agreement said estimated delivery of August 26th..
