More Space - M3 With Tow Bar And Roof Bars

I'm really keen on getting an M3 (the X is too pricey for us), but for the occasional family holiday (sometimes camping) we'd want to take plenty of kit as well as bikes.

I'm thinking that roof bars with a roof box, as well as a tow bar with a bike attachment, is the way to go but the dealer has told me that the Tesla roof bars are not available in the UK.

- Has anyone been able to find any decent roof bars in the UK which will fit the M3?

- Has anyone been able to find any decent rear bike carriers which don't require the £1k towbar?

The MY sounds ideal, but seems like I'd be waiting to 2022! Although I'd prefer Tesla, my other option would be waiting a year or two for circa£40k EV SUVs to appear (VW group ones may be a reasonable option).

I took a close look at a Euro spec M3 with 19” wheels.

If I’m not mistaken, they do not have a very high load carrying capacity. Not really sure it will take 4 big adults let alone any luggage.

I must be mistaken surely?

Wow - that doesn't seem much! It'd be enough for us though as the kids are small

Do I take it that the maximum load for people and luggage is 375Kg? I’d pretty much decided to get an M3 but that might be a game changer. The load capacity of my Audi A4 is 570Kg - a huge difference.

I'm not too sure how to read into that, but we've not heard any stories about any batteries falling out due to heavy passengers
I'm sure it'll be fine
