@Point 3, thanks for posting your photos of the Evannex appliqué. Great to see some real world examples.

I’ve been really impressed with AO. I ordered their new 9H tempered glass screen protector last night, and it already shipped! @pete8314, of AO, is also active on this forum, so maybe he has more photos with different colors?

I'll gladly take submissions, and reward with a generous coupon code :) The red one above is from a customer's car, and the white photos on the site are from our, but I ca't really justify having a full range of Model 3's just to get all the color combos :)

No offense intended, but I think this chrome real lip doesn’t look quite right not he Model 3. There’s ont enough detail in the lower half of the trunk to balance it out. The trunk lid now feels top heavy to me.
I think the Evannex appliqué would look better if it were made to go on the lower lip, farther away from the T logo. The T logo is just too close to it when it’s on the upper lip. I think the imbalance is why I eventually decided to go with the Franz-style lettering, with removal of the T.

The one lingering question in my mind, is whether I prefer the slightly smaller flat decal lettering on Franz’s car, or the raised chrome AO lettering. The AO version looks more OEM to me, but then again, if true OEM is a flat decal, then raised chrome is not really OEM, is it? o_O

RPM sells a flat decal version, but I’m done with RPM.

You make an interesting point. I honestly thought that Franz's decal was raised, but if we assume it's the same that's on the Roadster prototype, then it does look flush, I've attached a (very) close-up of it. It would be easy to create that in vinyl, much easier than the decal, but I doubt that's what they've used on the Roadster, based on the photos, it looks like something that's been applied under the clear coat, which is cool, but maybe not practical for production.

If you could recreate that look (size, color), I would definitely buy that.

Came across this video from i1Tesla the other day, and am kind of intrigued by his mods. At first, I didn’t even see them, because he has carbon white vinyl lettering on the trunk of his white M3, and a carbon white ≡ symbol replacing the chrome T logo on the frunk. It’s kind of a sick effect, but I don’t think it would play with my color (MSM). Almost makes me wish I had gone white, as the aero wheels really complete the storm trooper look. Anyway, I can’t do the frunk mod, either, since I already have ppf on my front end, which is cut out around the T logo, but if I could do it over, I’d have considered this. Props to i1Tesla, if he’s on the forum.

I just bought it and it’s scheduled to arrive Monday. I’ll put up photos after I put it on my black 3 over the next 2 weeks. So much better an option being on the lower edge and it will give meaning to my accompanying Model E badge to outsiders.
It’s still on their site here:

If you can, please take photos of how it looks right out of the package, too. The Facebook review, re-posted on page 2, mentioned “dozens of scratches” on the vinyl. Hopefully they’ve improved their packaging process. Thanks!

Thought I would share another silver 3 with the Evannex applique. I think it works well - especially with silver.
