That can't be right as right-side drive is such a small market. It's basically Hong Kong (light sales), Japan, Australia and UK. 5 weeks would be nearly 10,000 cars per quarter. List of left- & right-driving countries - World Standards

Are there any other aspects that differentiate a vehicle produced for the North American market versus European, maybe it’s a combination?

Euro and Asia both use different charging adapters. Canada also has slight differences.

The real difference is timing. Making inventory in December/January for March selling in say Europe and Asia is really key. Building US customer cars would happen more toward the end of the quarter. It's logistics over "parts orientation".

On all three factory tours I've been on, there are both RHD and LHD and Model S and X cars all intermixed on the finishing line.
