I bought a ‘15 Model S 85D in January and was always curious about the 1/4 mile time. Everything I found online was from 2015/2016 and I feel like a lot has happened since then with people losing range/power. Hopefully this helps someone who’s curious.
2015 Model S 85D
40,000 miles
Charged to 99% (264 est range)
Tires 39-40 PSI (on 21’s)
1st run 89% SOC
2nd run 87% SOC
50-55 degrees with decent wind
1/4 mile slips
I was very happy with these numbers and had a blast at the strip. It’s crazy the consistency these cars have. I plan to try again next year on a warmer day to try and get low 12s. Cheers!
