What is that that your glasses are resting on? You buy/build an insert for the center cubby?
3D printed to precisely fit that spot and covered in suede
Well damn. I didn't know I wanted that, but now I do. Been looking for some place to put my sunglasses. You should sell these! Or maybe license the design to AbstractOcean, RPM, etc.
This is fantastic. I would love to get it too. OP, if you are willing to print one and ship it to me, please let me know and I will gladly pay.
Ha! nice one. I've been meaning to find a solution to the bermuda console.
Any chance we can get the STL files for those cupholder and cubby inserts?
I've been thinking that somebody should make an organizer for that space that's exactly cut for certain Model 3 items
Like make a cutout to put the charging adapter in, a pen slot, a place for glasses, a cupholder for a small watter bottle, etc...
I have a 3d printer, I have some PETG, but I'm not sure how it would hold up in this Louisiana heat but would love to give it a try.
Put me down for one, how much?
Everyone's enamored by the console sunglasses insert, but it's the cupholder inserts that look really useful. The cupholders are a little too large and too shallow for standard to-go cups and water bottles.
Version 2. Taller divider for easier handling.
Also new bin for the space below.
I am working on a place to share all my model 3 project files on the 'Model 3 Invites' webpage.
My day job is getting busy before vacation, so nothing will happen until after our summer trips.
If you are willing to wait, my kiddo will produce these for his summer non-profit project.
And no comment about my cool Qi charger.
I saw that and have been searching for it online, should have put 2 and 2 together and figured out that you made that too. Please send that to the kiddo for orders ASAP too. How do we find out when these would be available for sale?
What 3D printer do you use?
Nice job...i would be interested in your Kiddo's summer non-for-profit project
Think your image is broken.
Image is loading fine for me both in his post (#12) and in your quote.
Working now for me.
