Pardon the messed up garage...
I haven't gotten the electrical inspection yet, which is why the silvery cover isn't on the HPWC. The hook in between the doors is high enough so that the cable never touches the floor, or even comes close, as long as the handle is either in the purple holster($10 or so on Ebay!) or the 3. The 3 can be 3' or better into the garage before the cord gets too short.
There's usually a small air compressor that hangs in between the doors, removed for clarity. The wide open space between the skis and the HPWC usually has a ladder in it, also removed for clarity.
This setup is nice in case I ever need to charge either outside or in the bay closest to the HPWC. I'm pretty sure I can get that cable down without a ladder.
The hooks are JP131W-L20 from Panduit. I have another ~40 of them if anyone wants to pay shipping and a meager price-per item(for some or all). There's another thread Improved Home Charging Station...No More Tripping Over the Cable!, where the 2" version was used.
The JP75W-L20 (Same as the above hooks but with a 3/4" opening in the hook instead of 1.31") would squeeze the 0.91" HPWC cord just a bit. It would probably still be fine for all the hooks, or just as end-hooks to keep the sag in the middle down, saving on hooks.
The last picture is ~700lbs of summer tires for our three vehicles. Each set of 4 has its own safety strap that runs through the middle of the wheels and latches the bunch up to the wall, in case of rack failure. Might not bother with the strap next year... as is my custom the racks are much more sturdily attached to the wall than they need to be.
