I need to get my car goin to to 150... Not anytime soon though.. sadly I got caught going 80 in a 55 in my friends truck... it didn’t have autopilot and my foot is heavy :(

cop did do me a solid though and only cited me for 74/55 which means I didn’t get charged with reckless....
Tell me you live in Virginia.. without telling me you live in VA lol

Man 20mph over there will get you in serious trouble

You need to invest in a quality radar detector only illegal in dc and Virginia. $600 is a lot for some people to drop but I’ve gotten both k and ka band hits over two miles before seeing cop.
Forget all that. Get a smartphone mount + Waze.

I drive as much as anybody else, upwards of 25K miles per year. And I can count on one hand, the number of times I've seen a cop NOT reported on Waze.

More importantly, Waze will point out speed cameras, road hazards, cars stuck on the side of the road, accidents, construction, roadkill, objects on the road, fog, etc. You know.. all that stuff that is extremely important when you decide to do 150mph on a public highway with all the other cars doing 70mph.

You will probably want to get rid of the 21” pothole magnets and get something like a 19, I’m going with TSportLines 18” true wheel package. Tires have a 50 aspect ratio vs the OEM’s 35. Much more sidewall between the pothole and rim. Plus you get some range back.
You dont get a performance for range...Keep the 21" ubers and low profile tires - if performance and handling are important. Nothing against TSportline but c'mon. For me, the ubers hold up much better against potholes than my older model S 21" turbines.

Couldn't agree more!
I love 21" ubers as well. it complements the overall look of the car, and strong/heavy and it is easy to clean.

Escort live does the same thing except it pairs with escort detectors. I see your rationale but if the guy a half mile ahead gets hit with radar or laser you likely won’t see update that quickly assuming that person reports it. Many places over 100mph is a felony and straight to jail. If you ever watch the gumball rally (coast to coast race done every year) none of them use Waze. And yes a few of them every year go right to jail such as the dude in the Ferrari F50 clocked at 187mph..

That is the route I am going to take when I get my MYP in hopefully the next few weeks. Got some 19" TSW wheels. With the 18s you will have, do you know what, if any, the speedo difference will be between the two sets of wheels?

Do you really think the potholes that can do the damage to the 21 ubers not going to damage your 19 or 18" wheels? lol

I had thought it is widely known that ultra low-profile tires such as those on the 21s are far more susceptible to tire sidewall pinching damage and to the often accompanying wheel damage. Not a guarantee that 21s will get damaged or that smaller ones won't, but when you have at least an extra inch of rubber and air that can compress/deform to absorb energy and distribute it across your wheel, simple physics explains how they will be more forgiving than a solid wheel.

Here is the ultimate solution to the pothole problems;

Obviously, but for virtually all 18" diamater wheels (or all that I saw when I was looking, anyways), were going to make the wheel either slightly too large or too small because the perfect sidewall ratio needed for 245 mm or whatever tires isn't really made by anyone.
Correct. To keep same diameter you’d need a 255/50R18 and tirerack has only one tire that size for $610/ea. You could go with 245/55R18 which is a laughably huge sidewall with a slightly larger diameter or 245/50R18 which is slightly smaller.
