@BeJay Good luck tomorrow! Best tip...take your time to inspect the car. Walk around it methodically, check doors, panels (especially the edges), internal trim, etc. Take plenty of photos amd most importantly. Ejoy the ride!

I just wanted to say how helpful the forum has been I’m catching the train tomorrow to pick my model 3. Is there anything I should know? Has anyone any helpful tips that would be useful?

If you get any good responses let me know. I too am getting the train to the NEC on Saturday!

I did read that Hall 16 is easy to find once in there as the signposting is good in the NEC.

I’m looking forward to it. Can’t wait

Yeah, that was my thought, it'll have a private plate on soon though. Can't work out how to add phone as key, app just shows pic of car and go to account as it did before I collected the car.

May be the car is yet to be enabled in the app or have you not signed into the app?

Adding phone is easy enough from the menu in the car (keys/security? can't remember which). Just need a key card, be logged into the app and follow instructions on screen. Plenty of examples on YouTube if you get stuck.

I read it sometimes takes 48 hrs for the app to become active after delivery so maybe that's why. The phone connects for calls but the app just shows as the attached pic.

How close is parking for NEC Hall 16? Seems like there are some car parks adjacent to the hall on North Avenue, but access to North Avenue seems to be restricted at the Northway roundabout. Some kind of gatehouse from the looks of it?

There's a reasonable amount of parking right outside the collection point, I left my trade in car right opposite the entrance.
