As someone in IT, I don't understand why they can't push these updates the first time the car connects to WIFI. Pretty much every other device in the world updates firmware the first time you connect it to the internet. I picked up my M3P on 3/13/20 and it still tells me my software is up to date even though I am at 2019.35.108. Is there some level of complexity I am just missing? If its the size of the update package then how are then going to deal with this as they continue to ramp up production world wide?

I ended up making a mobile service request over the weekend, per Tesla support chat suggestion. Last night they pushed an update and by noon today boost was ready in the car.

Had I not paid $2k for the upgrade, I would have been fine being patient, but if anyone else feels like they're in the same boat... that got it done.
