Are there any freaking release notes?
Sure thing - they’re right next to the stop sign reaction feature :/

They installed it while doing some servicing, so I didn’t get a pop up with release notes. Are there any freaking release notes?
Just click on the Tesla T in the middle, then release notesThey installed it while doing some servicing, so I didn’t get a pop up with release notes.
When I get back to the car I’ll see if I remember how to bring them up.
Tried it and assume it’s for the timid among us. I want the tire-burning mode not the neuter-the-car mode. Very odd upgrade.
Just got 2017.44 while getting car uncorked. Here’s what the new “Chill” function looks like.

It's actually quite interesting.I don’t understand what the “Chill” function does. Please clarify. Based on the post by @SomeJoe7777 does it reduce the initial acceleration rate?
It makes acceleration smoother, but also makes the onset of regen braking more gradual. How does it compare to the behavior when Valet Mode is turned on?
I agree, it's a strange thing to spend resources on implementing.
Maybe chill is for those who use their accelerator in the binary mode ON or OFF. For all others, just press the accelerator to the desired level of acceleration, and when decelerating, don't just lift the foot off the accelerator - just press the accelerator less, and the car will start regen deceleration proportional to the accelerator pedal. It makes acceleration smoother, but also makes the onset of regen braking more gradual.
