I just took delivery of an August 2019 built Model S. I noticed the interior trim is now dark chrome instead of shiny. How new is this? Sorry if it’s old news, but it was a VERY pleasant surprise to see.

I have it on the white interior as well.....feels more like a composite to me and not just a darker color.
Side by side, I prefer the polished finish of the steely-like trim.
There is a part list that I used on the forum to get all the parts for this retrofit done. The cost is around $600 dollars for all the dash parts and then you have to do the door cards and center console.
