New Stiffer Window Seals on 2020 Model 3?

I looked at a new one the other day in a show room, and the seals around the windows looks thicker and stiffer than my 2019. Can someone upload side-by-side pics or confirm? Also wondering if Tesla will do a retrofit if I pay. Heard this helps with noise.

Don't have pics readily available but owning a 2019 and a 2020 I can tell you the 20 does have stiffer seals. The 2020 is quieter.

I test drive a 2019 and was delivered a 2020. 2020 is significantly quieter

I doubt it's the door seals making that much difference. Plenty of aftermarket supplemental seals that you can buy and most people that have installed them noted not much if any difference.

If you haven't blocked the opening in the A pillar, I would try that first. Cheap and easy and most people have noted a major improvement, myself included. There is a thread on this website about it, something like Wind Noise: Solved it.
