no sentry mode

Just got my model S (May 2018 ) back from service center it has latest firmware but no sentry mode. They told me to update phone app. I did. Still no sentry mode. It's not under "safety and security" on touchscreen. Any ideas??

No, it isn't. Sentry mode is supposed to work in all AP2.5 cars

You don't get anything in the app when the car goes into 'Alert' mode and begins recording, but you should get a notification in the app if it escalates to 'Alarm' mode.

The video clips are recorded to the USB in the car, they are not available via the app as far as I know.

There are no Sentry Mode release notes for AP2 cars as AP2 does not support Dashcam and Sentry mode uses Dashcam, so no Sentry mode for AP2 right now...
