Just to repeat what others said I don't think is a wasted effort, Tesla will fix the bug and keep rolling it in a couple of days, most likely without including anything new, if something changed we will update it :)

That comes from React facebook/react I believe autopark_summon is classic summon It is minimized JS and a lot of the variables and method names are in fact offuscated

Actually found useful that when I called Tesla I wasn't near my car so I skipped all the reboot steps that I've already did at home before calling

I called tech support and they told me that they would need to push new maps to my car, ~18 hours later the option appear in settings but I can tell you that no maps were downloaded - at least not using my WiFi connection - and no message appear anywhere, I needed to go check the settings

Same thing happened to me, once Navigate on Autopilot appear that constant activity went away

No, firmware and AP are two separate downloads, at least that is what I remember that verygreen and others have reported in the past

Thanks for the update. For what it has been said in the past the firmware and the AP software is two different versions. Maybe we got one installed before the car got the AP software?

My theory is that they are trying to remove friction while buying the car, maybe they try to upsell FSD between purchase and delivery? Maybe they think people would order it anyways later?

Honestly, all this sounds to me like: Claiming that something is capable of doing something that hasn't really been proved or deployed to end users smells fishy.

He said 6 months before a point in the future that we don't k ow when is it going to be "~6 months before it is in all new production cars". If that point is in 12 months then yeah we will see it in 6 months, but it can be 2 years from now or 9 months.

I don't believe this to be the case, if this would be the case they would just stop delivering new software to those cars. Instead Tesla is not only updating all their cars but actually pushing g the same software to all of them I stead of separating "premium" (Model S & X) from "non-premium"...

This was I was wondering .. isn't not on v9 do I dont know but I've been driving with the camera on too.and map at the bottom on v8. Also pre Ap2 cars I assume still want this view, why limiting it and not letting it be at the top or at the bottom?
