My delivery from Tyco, to my home near George Mason University, is scheduled for 6/12.

I ordered it 1/5/20.

Blue and black, LR AWD, FSD, 19” wheels (would have preferred 18”, not offered ), no hitch (not an option back then). 5 seat, of course. Not Premium. $63,864.55 out the door (incl sales tax, delivery etc).

I will sell my 2015 Civic, and later, our 2016 Outback (wonderful car, got me to appreciate safety and driver assist features that the Y will take to the next level). When the Cybertruck we ordered is delivered, I’ll sell off the Cummins 4WD LB Crew Cab pickup.

Sadly, I have a few issues. The most glaring is a green wire with switch hanging out the bottom of the PAX front door. A couple fit issues, and a bit else. Including a window problem that doesn’t stay fixed with the ten second routine.

And I’ve had a few bizarre s/w errors, such as braking for no reason (dark spot on road? Shadow?)

I’m hoping a single service visit will fix these things, and I’ll be a happy camper.

Cross-posting here, but after Tyco insisted that I wouldn't see a replacement VIN until late July with an early Aug delivery, I wound up receiving a replacement VIN today with no warning, VIN 14xxx. Chatted with Tesla via their website, and they said my MY has been built, but it is still at the factory. No text yet on delivery date. Blue/Black LR, no FSD.

Unbelievable. Got the text last night to schedule delivery for this weekend. It will be interesting to see how they get the car from the factory to Tyco in 4 days, and prepped and delivered. My delivery specialist has previously told me this was 'impossible', and that Tyco also simply doesn't deliver cars without rectifications vs. what it sounds like other SC are doing out there. They typically have the cars for a week or so while, in his words, get them up to their standards and ready for delivery. I'll have my checklist in-hand!

I went through this process with Tyco, and I will tell you it doesn't actually work that way. I went to pick up our Y last Sunday, and when I spoke to them on that Saturday, they said they had received the car the day before and that they were now inspecting it (5pm) and if there were any issues they would call in the evening.
Long story short, when we saw the car, it had over 10 identifiable issues- panel gaps pretty much all around, wheel well trim not fixed correctly, rear seats not aligned, paint scratch etc etc. We declined delivery that day as they offered to keep it and fix the issues. I am scheduled to pick up again this afternoon. I was told yesterday that they fixed the car and all but one of the panel gaps met Tesla standards (meaning only one was adjusted...). I'm skeptical at this point but we'll see what the car looks like this afternoon.

So...yes, they do not keep the car for a week or even a few days to inspect it and fix any issues...although I'm certain they probably do do a walk through. But its mostly because it is so incredibly busy for them at this time that they probably don't have the manpower and time to spend days on each car. The Rep at Tyco mentioned to me that they have about 80+ deliveries this Friday, and the the same on Saturday and Sunday.

I will say that the folks at Tyco are great to speak with and not pushy or rushed, and were very accommodating to any request or feedback given to them. Good luck with your delivery! Hope its issue free!

I got a text to schedule delivery at Tyco and a VIN Monday. Confirmed this morning it was still in California. Tonight the VIN is gone from my account... buy my delivery appointment is still listed. :)

Same for me...and I was just told from at least corp Tesla through the chat feature on their website that they gave away my car to someone else, even though my delivery still shows as this weekend. They asked me to call Tyco Rd for more details. Will update when I get them, but again, this is all absurd.

So I continue to receive changes by Tesla almost by the hour! So in the past 30 min I received a new VIN - 90xx. So I called Tyco back, and again, got a great delivery specialist on the phone (seems to be a different person every time). They explained to me that the new VIN arrives tonight at Tyco from the factory, and it's production date was June 6th. So my delivery is still scheduled for Saturday. They said my last VIN was pulled back because the car is still in CA, and it would not make my delivery date (it has a production date of 6/22, so it is fresh off the line). So it was definitely more important to keep my delivery date within June vs. push it. I'm concerned a bit about the string of missing paint on blue MYs recently, and I'm not sure if the production week of June 6th has these issues or not, so I guess I'll find out on Saturday. I'm not going to pay attention to the VIN being 14xxx or 90xx, given that they don't seem to align to dates. My original build that was really in bad shape that I rejected had a production date of May 15th.

I'm still on track for delivery tomorrow at Tyco. But for the past 3 delivery appointments, they were all cancelled the night before, so not holding my breath. @asem111 - thanks for sharing your experience. I'll have my checklist ready. With contactless delivery at Tyco, how do we get the "due list" created? I thought using the Tesla app and submitting pictures and creating a service appointment was different.

Its not really contact-less. The delivery person will be with you for the most part as you check out the car and you can show/discuss any issues. They will note them down. On my second visit (yesterday) after signing the papers but before actually seeing the car, they wanted the payment. I politely declined saying I'd like to see the car first.

also...we ended up not taking delivery once again. They were unable to correct the issues we pointed out and we are now waiting on a new VIN to be assigned to us.

Was this the "vin is 14XXX and I called to find out when it was built, was told June 12th build date?" I have a W/W PUP picking up at tyco Sunday, 148XX, build date 6/13/2020.

What was your color config and why did you reject?

I'm really happy for you guys that have received your cars, but I'm rapidly losing patience waiting on my Y - white/white/19"/no FSD ordered 4/1/19. I have actually gone backwards to re-evaluating my trade-in (read: lower offer, no doubt). That re-evaluation started on Monday, my account page says that I would receive an updated within 24 hours and it's Friday. The folks I've dealt with have just given me milquetoast replys and I just feel like I'm getting burned on my trade-in waiting on this car.

I know some of you are likewise waiting patiently and some have been waiting longer than me, but this hasn't been the best experience for me personally (1st time TSLA buyer). I think I'm in until August and if I don't hear anything, I'm going to call it I think. Friday night feels I guess...

Yes...vin 14804. MSM/white, LR, FSD, Inductions.
We declined delivery bc we had identified panel gap issues, and they pretty much said they were all to spec so didn't need any adjusting, except for one. They did not attempt to fix the most glaring issue which was that the sunroof did not sit flush at the front or the rear. On the rear, the glass was lower on the right side, and you could tell just by looking at it. Apart from the aesthetics, pretty certain it would have created wind noise or other issues once driving. That plus the entire roof and hatch was more left aligned on the car rather than centered.

here's the front...see the drop?

Just went to Tyco Rd today. My car wasn't on the showroom lot yet, pickup tomorrow, but i got a chance to see a few White Model Y's there. One clearly has a mismatched door, vin 12XXX. I pointed it to to the delivery specialist there and he said "Meh, it's white." Another one looked pretty good, also 12XXX. I checked out a lot of the while M3s, MXs, and Mss, all looked fine. It's clearly a problem with a batch of MYs. My vin is 14xxx built 6/13/20. Finders crossed they fixed the issue by my build date.

@BreatheEasier You pick up your car yet?
