Does anyone know what happened to the edict from Tbe govt that all new rapid chargers sold be contactless by spring 2020. My local morrisons just got a Geniepoint and it needs an app or rfid card to use. FFS
I googled it but can't find anything.

Ah yes. The wording in the Regulations isn’t ‘contactless’. I think (don’t quote me) Ionity might do something similar.

Looking at it closely I'm not convinced that equipment left the factory like that. It looked like a rushed installation that's been around far longer than the pre-fab sets.

They were using them on pallets in Hilden, Germany last Sept whilst the main hub was being built, they even built a viewing area

Any more news on Rownhams? I drove through the services at the beginning of Nov. and there was no evidence of S/C construction. Hoping it will be ready in time for Xmas...
