So once you guys were down to the reduced window, like I am now, how long did it take to get a VIN and further instructions for delivery? For a few days now, May 20 - June 3.
i got a trade in text 2 weeks before the start of my window, and a VIN the day after. I know its different for everyone though...

I went to 14 days, next day it was 4 days and VIN. But this was 2 weeks before my EDD. My car was manufactured on 5/4 and I got my VIN on 5/5
Question, where do you find the VIN on the source code? Is it on the very first lines, or bury somewhere? Thanks

Right click on the browser, click on View Source Code, then search on 7SA. If it doesnt find anything no VIN yet
Thanks for the hint... I checked the source code and searched for keyword "lastUpdateDatetime". Mine is actually 2021-11-06
On your Tesla account on a desktop, you can press F12 (or right click and choose View Source or something similar) to see the page source code behind the webpage. Sometimes nice information is hidden in the code but not yet visible on the actual user interface of the webpage. Some people are confirming they’re about to get a VIN when they see the VIN already in the source code.
When viewing your reservation on the tesla.com website, you can view the HTML Source. Depending on what browser you are using, it's generally available if you right-click and select 'View Page Source'. As you get closer to getting a VIN assigned, you may be able to find it in the HTML Source before it shows up on the page itself.

Got a trade in text and call today. Replied that I did not have a trade in, and they noted the account. Hopefully VIN is forthcoming. Window starts tomorrow. I also had gotten a prior trade in text as well.
When it finally worked for me. It didn’t work. Tesla had my account on some sort of lock. For like an hour. I couldn’t login online to check. Then I saw my vin in app. The app said I had next steps to complete. I backed out. Got back in the app and I saw vin.

Delivery was easy and simple.
Walked me to my Y and said ok sign this paperwork. I was like wait ! What?! Thats it? He gave me as much time as I needed to inspect the vehicle. Absolutely perfect. Signed my paperwork and drove off after trying to figure out my 30 day premium connectivity wasn't connecting. Turns out I needed to call customer service bc it wasn't set all the way up even though it had a 30 day trial on the screen. No biggie.
she drives like a dream and today was a dream bc I never thought this day would come. Gorgeous inside and out and I'm glad I kept the white interior bc it is SEXY.
Tints tomorrow bc its wayyy too bright in this MF.... Had 15% on my last 2 jeeps so this won't fly.
