OEM Modely Y Mud Flaps no longer fit?

I went to the Tesla web site to order mud flaps for my brand new Model Y (build date is 1/18/2022) and noticed that it said the mud flaps weren't compatible with any of my vehicles. I double checked to make sure my vehicle didn't already have mud flaps and didn't see any so I went ahead with the order. I received them a few days later and quickly realized they won't fit because it looks like Tesla has changed the area they attach to (the holes are in the wrong spots and the piece doesn't actually fit properly onto the vehicle, as if the design of the fender changed a bit.

Has anyone heard about new mud flaps being released for recent builds?

I had the same message when I ordered the OEM mudflaps for my 22 MYP. My guess is they didn't update their site for the 22 models. Of course fit was perfect. Have a pic of your fender where the flaps install? I highly doubt they changed anything.

I also recently got and installed both the Tesla shop mud flaps for my May 2020 Model Y Performance and they showed as "incompatible" as well. They fit fine on my Y after installing them yesterday but I might take some tin snips and trim them as they're ridiculously long for what is needed...

Maybe the OP accidentally bought or was shipped the Model 3 ones?

I have 2020 and 2022 MYs and the mud flaps, center console drawers, and rear hatch screen all day not compatible with any of my cars.

2021 and 2022 MY, same mud flaps fit both cars (Tesla OEM front only).

Have a 2022, tesla console trays and mudflaps fit perfectly. It’s possible you were sent items that were misboxed.

If you haven't already taken delivery of your Model Y, maybe the website gets confused because it doesn't see that you own that car. Maybe it doesn't take into account that you may have the car on order and are awaiting delivery.

That's just a bug on their Webstore. As you can see a lot of us have the flaps and other accessories. I had both 2020 MY and now a 2022.

Yeah, it’s just a bug at their website. They worked when I tried them in another position.

There is big differences in the 2020 and 2022 I would expect most of that stuff not to fit

I didn’t care for the Tesla mud flaps. Found these on Amazon and they are not bad. I also did some ppf for the rear doors.

In case it wasn’t mentioned, there is specific left and right flaps
