Show Us What You Got!

With an increasing number of Tesla Model 3 enthusiasts mounting APEX wheels on their vehicles for both street and track use, we see many photographs of APEX wheels shared throughout the forum. This thread will compile photos of different APEX wheel fitments, as well as provide the community with detailed information surrounding wheel and tire fitment, alignment settings, brake and suspension clearances and more! Please feel free to ask questions along the way, we have fitment experts ready to provide technical support for both spirited street driving to weekend track warriors.

Feel free to just share pictures, but we know other enthusiasts would greatly appreciate if you included the following:

  • Wheel Model, Color, Size & Offset
  • Front and Rear Tire sizes, Tire Make & Model
  • Suspension Modifications, Camber Plates
  • Any required alignment settings such as added negative camber
  • Any other required modification (Spacers, fender rolling, etc.)

Hey! Finally you guys are on here I knew you would have to make model 3 wheels eventually. Don’t know if Ryan M. still works there but I loved my apex wheels on my e46 and e46 m3. Pretty sure my car picture is floating around somewhere on your site still.

I know you guys usually work with smaller diameters but the model 3 screams for at least a 19 inch fitment. I want style/strength and light wheels. I know us primarily street guys would appreciate it. Give me some 19 inch (or 20 Dreaming lol) satin black EC-7Rs with OEM hub cap fitment in a deep concave please!

Hey Brian, Ryan says hello! Good news is we are hoping to release some 19" fitments for the Model 3 by the end of this year. It's very much on the to-do list.

More good news, our EC-7R pre-sale has been extended! More time to save!

I too would love to see APEX release the EC-7R in 19" for our M3P's.
Nice, I've had 2 sets of ARC8's on some of my past BMWs. Will you eventually offer concave ARC8's for Model 3 fitment? Last I checked they weren't an option.

It's unlikely an ARC-8 wheel will ever be offered for the Model 3 as the brake clearance would not be very ideal. 19" EC-7R wheels are very much happening next year. Should be early '22.

@APEXRaceParts or anyone else, do you have any pics of a White Model 3 with Anthracite EC-7s? I'm contemplating purchasing a set of 19x9" EC-7 in that color. I really like the Race Silver, but you don't offer it in that color
Could you post weights with your wheel sizes?

I don't have any of the Anthracite/White combo on hand but I'll keep looking.

As for weights, all wheel weights are listed on the product page under the specifications tab: Model 3 - Tesla - Shop By Vehicle

Modifications
None - stock suspension and alignment

Fitmet notes
- 3mm spacers perfectly clear the hub lip. Smooth sailing after that.
- On the Model 3 Performance, be conscious of the plastic cylinder (electric brake actuator) on the back side of the rear caliper. There is clearance for the hub, but not with wheel weights.
- These are not light tires, but overall the setup reduce the wheel / tire weight from 56.8lbs to 53.4lbs.
- I personally think that the Uberturbine wheels are ridiculous with excessive stretch, insuficient sidewall protection and a very heavy look (consistent with the fact that they are very heavy). I had a set of EC7s on my BMW M235i for about 5 years. The flow formed wheels are track tested and very durable. No need at all of the forged wheels unless you are really chasing ounces...on a two ton car...

Looking good, thanks for the order!

@APEXRaceParts Can you clarify something for me.

The new uberturbines on the 21+ performance model have a hubs that have a step in them like this:

According to your website the EC-7 wheels require centering rings, and these are not stepped. Can you confirm these will work without issue?
