I took delivery on the 2nd, Thursday was my 7 days. Im wondering if I can return to re-order with the 3k discount.

When you use the return policy it bans you from ordering the same model/trim for 12 months. So even if you could return your Model Y it wouldn't accomplish what you want.

But the refund policy is only good for 7 days or 1,000 miles...

Assuming you’d pay cash, the refund process takes weeks on end.

You could probably make enough with a very low rate of return to net awash just investing that money and renting a car for 7 days...

many ways around that the 12 month restriction. And regarding 7 day/1000 miles... did you not read what I said? It was the same policy when that tweet went out.

I did pay cash, I have other means of getting around while waiting, plus right now it sounds like orders placed today are arriving within 4 weeks or so.

I emailed Tesla yesterday asking same thing. Im still within 7 day return period so we if they wont reimburse me the $3000 difference then im going to return the car.
