One issue with the continuous air vent

I like cold in my face. She hates cold. I raise her temp to something she likes and she splits the airflow on her side completely up and to the left and right of her.

I tell her, “Raise em, split em, spread em!”

If the fan is set to auto the air speed will drop when you're close to the temp you want.

(I'm mostly joking with this, but I bet it could work nonetheless...)

Get some 3/4" diameter foam "backer rod", spray paint or plastidip it black so it's not as visually noticeable, and then just shove it in there to block the vents.

Just for s***s and giggles, I just tried it with some 5/8" diameter backer rod that I had laying around, and the diameter was a bit too small to fit snugly, but it still generally worked to block or reduce air flow. I'm guessing 3/4" would be about the right size. Otherwise, I'm sure there are numerous other foam products that could fit the bill.

I think so. I haven't really done the split more than once and I wasn't monitoring the passenger side. All I can say is she didn't seems to be complaining after I showed her the temp control.
