Order Agreement vs Reservation Agreement

I'm pulling my hair out. We are supposed to pick up the car on Saturday. They even changed our appointment from 1:00 to 2:15. But no paperwork has shown up other than a generic order agreement. And I supposed to do something with THAT? We want to do an ACH transfer from my bank account but we don't have any instructions. My inside sales person, Janay, has not answered the phone or emails since Tuesday, and every number I've called is either busy or routes me to a message that says they are not taking calls right now. anyone have any advice? We are supposed to go to Fremont...

Ordered 6/26 w/ ApplePay

6:15 PM PT - Deep Blue Metallic, LR, Dual Motor, PUP, Aeros
6:34 PM PT - Thank You e-mail, w/ Order Agreement (MVPA)
8:30 PM PT - Next Steps e-mail

I can also log into MyTesla and on the right hand side the document "Order Agreement" has the same document to view.

Also ordered on June 30th. Had only received the reservation agreement. Overnight on July 6th, the order agreement showed up! My edit button was gone the moment I filled out all the details and the check marks were all green. Cash, no trade in.

your edit button disappears if you had check marks on all the of the pre order stuff filled out. Try changing the trade in section and make it pending and see if your edit button comes back. This means they have not assigned a vin yet.

I configured on 6/29, but opted for trade-in, which is the only line showing as "pending." All the other lines are marked with checkmarks and tagged as "completed."

I got the Reservation Agreement email, too.

I'm guessing (and hoping) that during the workweek, or at least soon, the trade-in process will move ahead, and when we've agreed on the terms, I'll earn another checkmark, and then a VIN and an appointment with destiny.
What method did you choose for payment? I chose to finance through my own bank and the payment method section still says PENDING and has the GREY (...) ICON instead of the GREEN CHECK MARK next to the items in the COMPLETED section.

Yes, this happened to me. Since they open the flood gates every ISA will be unresponsive.
I sent 20 emails back to back and cc: Elon Musk with the subject line "Help !!!! Help!!!!!"

Finally I was able to receive all my paper today, tomorrow is my delivery date.
Worst experience ever buying a car, so disappointed in Tesla.

Good luck to you..

Does the order agreement need to be signed now? or does this happen when you get a delivery date, VIN assignment or at delivery time?

All I have is a link in the documents section to the unsigned version:

https://www.tesla.com/teslaaccount/document-hub/show-document/order-agreement

If you agree with the your final number for the car which includes, taxes, registration, trade in, and loan amount.
Then yes, I would sign it. Keep in mind if you have multiple names on the title, you will receive multiple emails after you signed one for additional signatures.

I called Tesla a couple days ago and asked them the same question. I was told that there's no need to sign anything on the form at this time. Once you have a delivery specialist reach out to you they will get you to sign stuff.

3/4/18 - Placed my reservation on the Tesla website, made the Reservation Payment by credit card then received my Reservation Number.

6/28/18 - Received an email from Tesla (late in the day) stating my Model 3 is ready to order (traveling today so I delayed ordering a day)

6/29/18 - On the Tesla website, I placed my order (Model 3, Pearl White, LR, RWD, 19” Sport Wheels, Premium Interior) and made the Order Payment by credit card. Later in the day, I received an email from Tesla stating “Your Order is Confirmed” and my Reservation Agreement was attached to that email. I then finalized my profile and delivery info on the Tesla website. The website showed my car delivery window is Sept 18 - Nov 18 (I assume 2018??)

6/30/18 - Checked the website and found, then downloaded my “Motor Vehicle Purchase Agreement” (5 page pdf) from the website.

The wait continues (but much closer)!

Catekuss how did everything work out for you on your delivery date? I’m dealing with pickup in a few days and no paperwork wanting to do an ACH transfer as well.

Assuming that wherever you pick up your car, if it operates the same as the Fremont delivery center, you will be able to enter your banking details (routing number and account number) into a tablet or PC that your delivery advisor hands you. All of the paperwork that was emailed to you (and more) will be provided onsite for you to sign. I had to wait an extra 10 minutes or so while the sales people tried to figure out why my emailed total was about $100 less than what they had me sign. The registration/transfer fee increased because I already had personalized plates I wanted transferred to the 3.

RayK thank you so much for this insight. My ISA advised me to pay a few days in advance and in the email it states that “Everything needs to be done prior to delivery.” Whatever that is supposed to mean cause I still only have a generic MVSA and have no total purchase price (with taxes and fees) quote. Still waiting for my ISA to get back to me on this.
