Out of Warranty

Just realized my car is one month over the warranty. A 2020 model x. So far, only issues are tires and 12 volt batteries. Now dealing with a low coolant on/off light, going to service center Saturday. Any comments on extended warranty ? I think I blew my cha ce with Tesla by not realizing that it has expired a month ago. Thanks so much, great forum, great help here

I would expect that battery coolant issues are covered under the battery warranty. Are you a 2020 with unlimited miles on the battery warranty? Or if you have the 150,000 mile limit, surely you are not past that?

You can go this route, however most of the major components/most expensive repairs are covered till 2028 if my math is correct. Really up to you and if you believe in having a warranty.

I would expect that battery coolant issues are covered under the battery warranty.

Unlikely that the leak would be inside the battery. Any leaking hoses/pumps/etc. would not be covered under the battery warranty.

Service center. Took one hour. Coolant was slightly below line, no leaks. 35 dollars. I am pleased and relieved
