Jurl that car is fantastic, thanks for the pictures.
What headliner did you go with ?

I went with the black headliner since i didn't want a third color...i have the pano roof and am very happy with the result..

The interior looks as good as the outside. Had not thought about it being a 3rd color but that is a good point. It will be a while before I order a new one, but when I do that is the color combination I like the best so far. Thanks again.

However, the sound system is fairly lacking; the GPS navigation audio doesn't get loud enough to be heard over wind noise when the roof/windows are wide open and the music is otherwise on

Just in case you didn't know, the Nav has a separate volume control than the music. So when you have the Nav up, you can click in the corner of the direction list on the 17" and change the volume level. Maybe you have it too low?

Now, it could be just as you said and not loud enough for you, but I thought I would mention it in case you had that volume much lower.

FYI, same with Bluetooth phone audio. Separate from music and Nav levels.

I picked up my 90D the day before a two week vacation. I was really hoping to get it in time, as the plan was to drive 700 miles from Philly to Hilton Head, SC. I was so glad it was ready just in time for the trip. Day 1- I put 30 miles on the car driving around. Day 2- over 700 additional miles! The trip was great- 4 super chargers each way (each located just of I-95). Having to stop every 2 and a half hour each time was actually nice- great to stretch the legs, walk the dogs, etc. Arrived totally fresh! The car was amazing, never disappointing.

I broke in my Model S with a road trip from Atlanta to Hilton Head for the 4th as well!

Hey guys!

Took delivery on 6/25 (White 90D) and immediately took her in for full XPEL Wrap + Opticoat.

Here is my original post on the delivery experience: Model S Delivery Update

As if the 2 month wait wasn't painful enough, it was even more painful handing her over to the detailer and having to wait another week, but it was worth it! The detailer did an awesome job. About a week later, I got her back and dang was she shiny. I've heard people say that the XPEL kind of reduces the gloss of the opticoat, but I disagree. It's super shiny and glossy, and under sunlight it's almost too bright to look at! In case anyone is doing delivery in Dedham, I can highly recommend the guys at Craft Detailing. They're only a 5 min drive from the Dedham service center. Talk to Kevin and he will hook you up.

I did my first wash 1 week later and was pleasantly surprised how little effort it takes to clean having the Opticoat, using the Optimum no rinse method. Thought I'd post some pics for you guys to enjoy :)

Another interesting tidbit -- I originally used somebody's referral code from back last October (2015) from the very first referral program. My design studio showed a $(-1000) credit at that time. However, I didn't actually order the car until April 25, 2016, long after the referral program was over. Nevertheless, they took off the $1000 referral credit during delivery! I'm sure it was just a software glitch in their system, but I was happy :)

Anyway hope you enjoy the pics!

Awesome photos, love the white! I think the extra shiny finish with the coatings set it off. Nice one! I'm getting Opticoat only I think, does it really take a week to get done? After waiting so long must have felt crazy to give it away again for another whole week! I'm not looking forward to that bit.

Thanks! It was the XPEL film that took the longest. The opticoat application should only take a couple of days at most.

Beautiful car. I am waiting on my white S and it's killing me. DOn't be putting any Red Sox stickers on that beauty :) I am thinking about doing the opticoat. What did it cost you?

Thanks! I think opticoat at a minimum is a good investment. A beautiful car like this you would at least get it waxed periodically to keep it looking new and the opticoat is essentially a permanent 7 year wax. Before I did it I read dozens of articles on this forum about this topic, there's really a wealth of information here so thanks to the community!

Here's the pricing page where I got mine to give you an idea of cost.
