Thank you for the responses. I'm a little stunned because I just logged into my Tesla account again and found a VIN and delivery appointment date for this Friday, May 17. Much faster than I expected - order 5/10, receive VIN date 5/12, delivery 5/17. Guess I have a common build... They never sent me an email or anything though, which really shocks me. It also lists my delivery appointment at my home address, but when the salesperson helped me put in my order the system said they were not doing home deliveries in my area, despite the fact that I'm pretty close to Baltimore and DC. Does that mean they will deliver to me, or not?
Also, what do I do in the event that I can't make the delivery on the 17th? Can I request the following day?
Sorry for all the questions, but this is the first time I've been this confused buying a car, and to be honest I'm not 100% confident I believe everything my salesperson was telling me.
