Timeline:
8/30: Placed order at the store after test drive
9/6: Received email from Sr Delivery Experience Specialist confirming payment, trade-in (Carmax match), and other details.

Communication with the Delivery Experience Specialist and my advisor has been really good. They respond quickly and really straight-forward. Currently waiting for a VIN.
 
Finally heard from Tesla for the first time since my order on 8/24 a few mins ago. They texted me and said to go on my account and complete my delivery profile which has been complete since 8/24. They then told me to update all sections of my profie which there was no way to update the items as they all just had checkmarks next to them. Finally she asked me to get my trade ins payoff amount, per diem and due date.

I provided that last bit of info so we will see what happens next.

I'm just glad I finally heard something from someone.

I got that text yesterday. Complete silence since. Mine seemed like an automated system that only gets checked by a person if an unexpected response comes in. My reply I told them I wanted to proceed but I have a payoff that isn't showing in my Tesla account. They responded saying they needed a picture of the title. So I had to again reply that I had a pay off and didn't have a title in hand. It was kind of weird.
 
Just reached out to Tesla inquiring about the MVPA agreement for my vehicle. They informed me that I'm estimated to take delivery sometime during the last week of September.

Hey everyone :D

While my communication experience with Tesla hasn't been negative like some others (my SA has been in contact with me frequently since my order), it hasn't actually netted to anything more than knowing the car isn't ready. At this point, checking each day feels a bit like watching the hands on the clock and wondering why time moves so slowly.

My biggest concern at this point is that my lease is up the last week of this month and I'm definitely trying to avoid having to find alternative transportation for an undetermined amount of time. *crosses fingers*

South bay (San Jose) here. Ordered 8/26. P3D+ Red & White interior w/ FSD. No updates what so ever. Not even Tesla financing call/emailed me. Perhaps, I should also contact my SA.

My lease ended a week ago (after extending it an extra month). I’m now ubering, snagging rides from coworkers, and walking. I may resort to hitchhiking soon, lol. If I don’t hear anything by Monday I’m just going to rent a car for a week. Super disappointing

My car got totaled from getting rear ended back in July. I let Tesla know this when I placed my order on August 3rd and they told me I’d get my car within two weeks and hopefully even sooner than that. Here I am about six weeks out from my order with no car. Been living like this for a month and a half now. Not very fun.

Right there with you. My car was totaled 7/30 and after the guys insurance finally agreed to total mine, I ordered 8/15. Had rental till 8/20 thought I'd be fine for one more week. Jokes on me. My rental car is now like a car payment.

Wow...I ALSO totaled my car.
Funny enough, I ordered my Model 3 and took/ my car out to be appraised since Tesla wasn't giving me enough for a trade it. I got a good trade in value and totaled it on the way home from the appraisal.
At first I was pissed, but I ended up getting $5k more through insurance than I would have from any trade in or selling it, so financially it worked out.

However, I haven't had a car since August 3.
I pick up my new Model 3 on 9/20 -- 7 weeks after I ordered. 7 weeks with no car.

Luckily for me, I live in Chicago an we have good mass transit.
