FWIW, there's a place here in Atlanta that does Photosync sides, back, and front for $900.... Tesla special.. It's 40 all the way around with 75 on the front. He said 40 because in full sun in summer, the 40 can appear darker than the legal limit. He strongly recommended I go with 40.

Haven't noticed the rainbow through my windshield and I do wear polarized glasses.

We met the owner at SEMA this year...very nice guy and knows his stuff. With Photosync, keep in mind there aren't many dealers carrying it because Prestige is very selective in who they allow to carry this product. Another product that Prestige has is CeraLuxe, which is a nano ceramic film that outperforms just about everything out there (except Photosync) and costs about 20%-25% less. So this may be a viable option for those not looking to spend the money for Photosync.

Even where it is illegal, some tints are pretty much undetectable. You may or may not be comfortable with this. I'm told that there are also some people who drive at higher rates of speed than is strictly authorized by statute as well. :wink:

erikdj - Yes, that is correct. It is illegal to apply any film to the windshield.
