Single phase forged is their way of saying flow forged. Essentially it allows for stronger and lighter wheels while it is not as expensive as truly forged wheels.
My only issue is that they shouldn't use the term forged on these wheels since they are not truly forged at all. Flow formed is what the manufacturing process is really called. They are a step up from cast wheels but a step below forged wheels.

Agreed. There are so many names synonymous with "flow-formed" at this point. It's confusing. Flow formed wheels are just cast wheels with the barrel and lips spun-formed over a mandrel with rollers. Helps with bending and cracks, but you won't get that thin spoke look of forged wheels, since the spokes are still cast.
