I didn't take that picture. Just found it online. Not sure how they did it... Almost certainly it was a software effect done to a "non-spun" picture.
(I assume you are talking about the "spiral into infinity" picture.)

Yeah. Don't think you could do that effect and keep it in such sharp focus.
