That's really the last thing that's holding me back from ordering (been invited since 3/22/18). I kind of given up on the SR battery being available before 12/31/18, so I'm likely going to get the LR battery, even though I don't need the extra range. But I definitely don't want the black interior, and am holding off until white becomes available in non-performance models.

I definitely want the white interior, but the Performance version is a little too dear for my liking. Otoh, until the Model 3 becomes available to order over here, there might be a white or other light-coloured interior for non-Performance versions too.

In the exact same place. Will keep waiting until I can get white. Either by affording the Performance car, or waiting for it to come down to the non performance.

Folks, if you want white (or lots of other color options), @Tsportline offers many different color Model 3 interiors for about $2200 + local installation.

This is the route we'll probably take instead of waiting for Tesla to offer white or other interior colors.

Traveled to Bakersfield this afternoon via I5 South towards LA and came across two car carriers... do you recognize your car? A few X & S cars and the rest were 3’s/ only 2 on the first carrier were wrapped and none on the second were wrapped.

I can't speak for anywhere else, but near me there's a literal "hole in the wall" auto upholstery shop that does all the work for the mega-expensive car dealers around here. I'd guess it's a full day's work, maybe around $1k. But worth it, because I KNOW they'll do it right the first time and it will look perfect. I had my BMW e39 M5 Lemans Blue seats redone there. Perfect.

I’m on vacation in Cali and Model 3 are EVERYWHERE.

I’ve seen 30+ on the road between Anaheim, Hollywood/LA, PCH, Monterey, Fremont (not counting the Factory lot), SF and Sonoma/Napa.

We saw 9 truck loads in Fremont.

Only the one on the bottom were wrapped to protect them from any oil leak...

I see that a lot - different stagings of wrap. Maybe fully wrapped are bound for trains/ships? Or maybe Tesla is in such a stage of rushing deliveries that the wrap team has to run alongside as the trucks are pulling away. Some get full wrap - some don't.

Carol spotted these model 3’s near a storage center. They are miles from the Tesla sales office. Did Tesla make so many they have run out of room to put them?

Carol and I went by the same lot again today. Four of the six were gone, and 16 more have arrived!

A few stats: the lowest VIN was 27K, the highest was 43K. 15 had base wheels, 3 had upgrade wheels. None had AWD badging.

We went to the sales center, and there are more than 30 model 3’s, as well as a lot of model s and model x vehicles being readied for delivery.

So more than 50 model 3’s to be delivered here in Raleigh. Has anyone else had a chance to go by any other sales centers?

Sorry I’m slow responding. The lot is on Glenwood. It will be on your right if you come from Durham. It is the lot for a deceased fitness center. The building you see is public storage.
