Plaid Vibration around 38-42MPH....

i confirmed this with swapping rear axle left to right to fix the issue.

What? We're talking about front axles?

I'm pretty sure the axles can handle the torque. No one has broken one. They just have some slop in the CV joint and under extreme angles the CV joint vibrates at the resonant frequency of the system.

i get to drive alot of plaid, and they all vibrate in the rear.. 2021-2022 mostly got some miles on the odo

I've not heard of anyone's Plaid vibrating in the rear. The issue is up front, and I'm 99.999999% sure it's nothing to do with the axles.

SOFTWARE is to reduce torque at certain mph so reduce vibrate, root cause its the axle can't handle the torque.
i confirmed this with swapping rear axle left to right to fix the issue.

I've had the half-shafts replaced. It started vibrating as I drove home from the dealer lol

So I’m happy to report my start up vibration and 35-45 mph part throttle vibration is markedly attenuated or resolved following 2023.44.1. It’s wet out so i can’t yet check on the WOT vibration.

Great news. That's what I'm hearing from most, - that it might not be quite gone, but it's gone enough that you probably don't care anymore. Do update, though!

That really is what I like to hear. Just hoping that with all the Cybertruck talk (read: disappointment), Tesla don't forget about us plebeian Model S owners waiting for the update.

Pretty much impossible to experience glasslike smoothness, particularly if you find yourself driving California roads!

Happy to report my drive today was quiet, zero vibrations and smooth! Finally after 9 months! Well it was because I got a Taycan Turbo. ZERO vibrations!!

Actually paid $93,700 for it, but thanks. My problem wasn’t the 40-50 mph vibration. It was the 80 mph vibration and.44 didn’t fix that

Good call. I test drove a turbo S, but couldn't justify spending $230k on it. Maybe I'll look at the listings around me.

It’s a way better built car than the Model S. In another galaxy actually. Do like the Tesla UI compared to car play though. That’s only thing I don’t like
