Through USAI, DoD will provide up to $300 million in security assistance to bolster Ukraine's capacity to defend itself. This decision underscores the United States' unwavering commitment to Ukraine's sovereignty and territorial integrity in support of its heroic efforts to repel Russia's war of choice.

Capabilities in this package include:

• Laser-guided rocket systems;
• Switchblade Tactical Unmanned Aerial Systems;
• Puma Unmanned Aerial Systems;
• Counter-Unmanned Aerial Systems;
• Armored High Mobility Multipurpose Wheeled Vehicles;
• Small-to-large caliber nonstandard ammunition;
• Night vision devices, thermal imagery systems, and optics;
• Tactical secure communications systems;
• Non-standard machine guns;
• Commercial satellite imagery services;
• Medical supplies, field equipment, and spare parts.

The United States has now committed more than $2.3 billion in security assistance to Ukraine since the beginning of the Biden Administration, including more than $1.6 billion in security assistance since Russia's unprovoked, premeditated invasion.
...
The United States will continue to utilize all available tools to support Ukraine's Armed Forces in the face of Russian aggression.

Is the department of defense lying when they say there will utilize all available tools to support Ukraine? Are F22s, F35s, Apache helicopters, etc on their way? Will be interesting to see Ukraine firing cruise missiles. Or is this a sick April fools joke?

HASC = House Armed Services Committee
Quote:
HASC’s chairman, Rep. Adam Smith, D-Wash., said he favors arming Ukraine with more drones as quickly as possible in order to take out the Russian artillery raining destruction on Ukrainian cities. He credited Ukrainian attacks on Russian supply convoys for thwarting Russia’s efforts to take Kyiv.

“Drones have the ability to get out there and not be seen. They’re survivable, they won’t get shot down and they can deliver a punch. So those are the systems that we have to get to them,” Smith said.

At the hearing, lawmakers asked about sending coastal defense cruise missiles to Ukraine ...

  1. U.S. Switchblade Drones for Ukraine Will Include Tank Killers
U.S. sending 10 tank busting drone Switchblade 600 systems to Ukraine. If proves useful, then more will be sent. This is in addition to the 100 Switchblade 300 systems. Switchblade 600 is still in early production stage.

With a 50 mile range, it might be good for taking out more oil storage facilities inside enemy territory.

No sane politician would abide by those demands (one of them is bullshit)

The only way for war to end is if Russia leaves all of Ukraine, per the 2013 borders. Anything less it to reward Russia.
I should add Moldova is also a MUST VACATE requirement (because there is 1500 Russians in Moldova, on Ukraine border)

Fortunately some in high places already see this and talk about it.

U.S. says it is training Ukrainians in Poland and the U.S.
3:08 into video. 3 hours and 8 minutes into the video.

3:10:45 Representative asks if we can send A10 Warthogs to Ukraine. Secretary of Defense says yes, we can. (This does not imply they will.) Always awesome to see the A10 in action.

Devastating sanctions? No! Everything helps against Russia but devastating would be to give Ukraine the fighter jets it has asked for and minor logistics support. Is the world still sending billions of dollars to Russia for oil and gas while that money is then used against Ukraine? Those countries that are funding Russia should be very ashamed! Germany and India are you listening? You are on the wrong side of history.
Quote from Ukraine Minister of Foreign Affairs: appreciate the strengthening of the 5th EU sanctions package: bans on Russian coal, vessels accessing EU ports, and road transport operators. But it will take a gas/oil embargo and de-SWIFTing of all Russian banks to stop Putin. Difficult times require difficult decisions.
