As usual I'm sorry if this has been brought up but I can't find it. Do you think Model S would get post Ludicrous speed? I know that Elon said Maximum Plaid is reserved for another car, but he could change his mind, no? Or provide an increased level of Ludicrous?
What would it be? How feasible would it be with current hardware?
How about a lightened version, with carbon wheels and things?
    Let the speculation begin!

I predict the Model S will eventually get another power upgrade. It will probably be called Maximum Plaid and it will make an *actual* 691 hp.

    Makes sense.

We're said to be at at 475 kilowatts now with Ludicrous, so it wouldn't surprise me if Maximum Plaid came up next and soon.

I wonder if it will be free.

I reckon Maximum Plaid is reserved for the 1,000 hp Model R P100Q coming out in 2020.
